Just replaced my first knee pin...I had a Lion figure with a broken knee pin...I also had a Scottie that was a beater..so i followed a simple tutorial and replaced the lions knee pin with Scotties...So now i have a lion (and a broken Scottie now)!! Just have to wait for the lions costume to arrive!!

One has to be really careful with removing and installing knee pins as they are real fragile plastic. Dr. Mego and CTVT offers replacement knee pins for those that are interested.

Try GLASS!! LOL I've shattered more GD legs of Trek guys than i care to tell y'all trying to get leg pins out.....Ya, Doc bodies are the best..except for the hip pins that hold the legs on...they are VERY fragile so you better have some original ones as they are thicker plastic and less brittle than Doc's.....

So true. ;D I have broken a "few" myself. The pins need to be made of stronger material. That would definitely help.
